Hereditas: the project that enhances the future of Italian hospitality

The Hereditas Foundation was created to promote a new culture of hospitality, combining tradition, managerial expertise and an international outlook. Its goal is to train the professionals who will lead the sector, through structured programmes, practical experience and the promotion of professionalism, responsibility and an international mindset.

For Duetorrihotels, a founding member of the Foundation, Hereditas is a strategic investment: a concrete commitment to strengthening the sector’s human capital and supporting a more solid and innovative hospitality ecosystem. The Group actively contributes to the training programmes, fostering the development of advanced skills and a forward‑looking vision of hospitality.

Goodnight Books: Ten Years of Stories Discovering Italian Cities

For ten years, Duetorrihotels’ Goodnight Books have turned reading into an act of hospitality. Born from an idea at the Grand Hotel Majestic “già Baglioni” in Bologna, the books tell the stories of cities through lesser-known places, events and people, with contributions from some of the most respected voices in Italian journalism and culture.

The project has grown across five cities, Bologna, Florence, Genoa, Milan and Verona, and has evolved beyond the pages of the books with the launch of the Discovery 4Tour journeys, itineraries inspired by the stories and developed in collaboration with local tourism organisations and institutions. In 2027, the collection will begin a new chapter, with five new authors and five new stories offering fresh perspectives on the cities.
